    Sufian Munir

    Sufian Munir


    Sufian Munir is a serial entrepreneur with two decades of experience spanning telecom, AV, e-commerce and renewable energy sectors. He is the founder and CEO of OneScreen Solutions with subsidiaries in USA, Pakistan, UAE, Colombia and Mexico where he leads teams of scientists, engineers & marketers working together to develop and market OneScreen product lines consisting of cloud based video collaboration tools and video enabled smart boards. Sufian has also served as the CEO of Clary Business Machines, a company that he transformed from a brick & mortar office equipment reseller to one of the largest e-commerce players of interactive whiteboards in the United States. Clary joined the ranks of INC 500’s fastest growing companies three times under his leadership. Sufian was also the Co-Founder and lead investor in Clary Solar, another company that joined the INC500 list. Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Munir worked for Ericsson.

    Nasir Javed is the founder and CEO of Princeton Technology, Inc. A Memory & Flash Storage  company based in Southern California. He has a BS in EE and an MBA in strategic business management. He was winner of HP design competition & Chairman IEEE. His interests are in promoting entrepreneurship and operates with management philosophy of MacGyverism. A believer in social entrepreneurship and doing good. Founding charter member of TIE So Cal. A recipient of White House, President’s Volunteer Service Award & multiple congressional recognitions.     Dr. Mohammad Razaq

    Dr. Mohammad Razaq is the current President and CEO of cMAX-2000, Inc, a manufacturing company based in Southern California. He has a Ph.D in Electrochemical Engineering and worked with Teledyne Analytical Instruments, Case Western University and Analytical Industries Inc, AII in exectuive leadership roles. He is a social philanthropist and has played a key role in fundraising for Shukat Khanum Research Center (SKMH) Lahore, Sebha Trust and organizationas such as Shine Humanity, DIL and The Citizen Foundation. He is also serving as the President of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) USA chapter.

    Azhar Hameed

    Azhar Hameed is a serial entrepreneur turned philanthropreneur who has dedicated his time, talent and treasure towards helping those in need. Having been through a series of business successes ranging from an IPO, divestiture and a technology exit,  Azhar for the last few years has turned his focus on building companies that can fund his passion for education, health, economic and social upward mobility of the underprivileged in Pakistan. Azhar is the President of Akhuwat, world's largest NGO in providing interest and collateral free loans to the underprivileged in Pakistan and also on the board of Shine Humanity and The Citizens Foundation. TCF has built over 1400 schools and educates 200,000+ boys and girls in remote and marginalized communities in Pakistan. Azhar is in the process of forming Mohubbat.org, an NGO focused on cross-border sharing of non-profit projects between India and Pakistan.

    Umer Khan

    Umer Khan is the Vice President of Information Technology and Information Security at SpaceX, a company that designs, manufactures, and launches the world's most advanced rockets and spacecraft. He is also a partner of Mentors Fund, a seed stage venture fund investing in tech startups transforming traditional verticals. Umer has served as an author, editor, and reviewer for several technical publications, including a best-seller. He holds 20+ professional certifications, and has filed for three US patents. Umer received a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Illinois Tech and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Umer is involved with several non-profit organizations.

    Umer is passionate about family and loves spending time with his wife and four children. He is also an avid student of the Arabic language and the Islamic Sciences.

    Shahzad Malik

    Shahzad Malik is a partner within Nixon Peabody’s M&A and Corporate Transactions practice group and a member of the Tax team. He concentrates on tax issues for mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments and fund formation matters as well as tax controversy issues. Prior to Nixon Peabody, Shahzad was the chair of the tax practice at Stradling, Yucca, Carlson & Routh, P.C. He earned his LL.M. in taxation from New York University and his law degree from the University of Ottawa. Prior to Stradling, Shahzad was a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.

    Farheen Umar

    Farheen Umar is a documentary producer/director with works that have broadcast on PBS and international television. Farheen’s first documentary, "Women of Islam-Veiling and Seclusion" sets the record straight on Muslim women and the veil. Her second documentary, "Farah", was filmed in the USA and Palestine over four years, and is a co-production of PASHA FILMS and ALJAZEERA NETWORK. Farheen has spoken at numerous forums in USA on the topic of independent filmmaking, women in filmmaking and misrepresentation of Islam and Middle East in USA. Farheen has also worked in production and anchoring roles for broadcast networks CNBC and NBC San Diego. Farheen lives in California and has an MBA from University of San Diego and Media certifications from UCLA and UCSD.

    Faisal has extensive leadership experience in building global organizations, delivering innovative products, driving growth, improving efficiencies and gaining market share, both in fast pace startup environments and Fortune 500 companies. Currently he is the VP of Technology at GlobalLogic, leading the Global Cloud/DevOps Practice organization. Previously he has been the VP of Engineering at PLUMgrid (Acquired by VMware), VP of Mobile Video Product Line at Allot Communications, VP of Engineering at Ortiva Wireless ( Acquired by Allot) and Founding member of Wichorus (Acquired by Tellabs). He is an advisor to several startups in the areas of robotics, drones and autonomous driving and is a mentor at CONNECT and CyberTech. He received an MSEE from Purdue University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. He holds 8 patents.
