OPEN Organization

The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America (OPEN) Global is the world’s premier entrepreneur network. Founded in 1998, OPEN has grown to eleven chapters in some of the world’s most dynamic hubs of entrepreneurship — in the U.S, U.K. and Pakistan. The non-profit organization is registered in Massachusetts.

Over the last two decades, OPEN has played a lead role in promoting high-impact entrepreneurship in key diaspora communities. Hundreds of networking meet ups, annual conferences and mentoring and knowledge workshops have brought together — and built — relationships amongst thousands of entrepreneurs, corporate professionals and business leaders.

    OPEN SoCal (Southern California)

OPEN SoCal aims to build and promote an ecosystem of resources, inspiration, mentorship & networking opportunities for Pakistani professionals and entrepreneurs in Southern California to grow in their career or business.

Our mission is to promote entrepreneurship and professional growth by connecting the professional Pakistani community through workshops, events and mentoring opportunities. Our members include professionals, entrepreneurs, business leaders, venture capitalists, scientists, social leaders, academics, and students.

Our key goals and objectives are:

    • Enable meaningful connections in the community through events that will bring together entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders so they can establish relationships, expand their professional network, and uncover professional opportunities.
    • Provide mentorship opportunities for our members to connect with other successful members of our community with a proven track record and get specific advice on business issues or career development.
    • Recognize the accomplishments of successful Pakistani American entrepreneurs and professionals and providing inspiration for all members to strive for greater success.
    • Provide learning and growth opportunities for the youth of our community (high school and above) to be developed as the next generation of business leaders.
